Discovering Energy Healing: A Guide to My Holistic Approach

Energy work and energy healing are becoming more mainstream in holistic health, but there's still much education needed. Below, I’ll walk you through what an energy healing session looks and feels like with me.

First, energy work and energy healing are synonymous; they mean the same thing. You may hear terms like chakra rebalancing, aura cleanse, energy exchanges, mindset shift, grid alignment, and chain breaking, all of which I incorporate into my sessions. For example, I work with chakra alignments, aura cleansing and rebalancing, generational work (or chain breaking), mindset work, and releasing energy blocks.

What does an energy session look like, feel like, I need more details?!

conversation about energy healing

A common question I receive is: What does an energy session look like, and what do I actually do? Think of it like a meaningful, healing conversation, but with much more than just venting. Instead of fueling negative emotions, our conversation brings insight, awareness, motivation, and healing. I encourage you to come with an open heart and mind, which helps the energy guide me.

The session begins by setting an intention: What’s bothering you? What are you worrying about—mentally, physically, spiritually? Once we identify this, I ask your energy’s permission to tap into the flow. Your energy knows exactly where to lead me, helping to unravel blocks and start the healing process. As we talk, more layers surface, guiding me to the areas where healing is needed. I follow the energy’s lead, releasing low vibrational energies through generational patterns, light, colors, affirmations, and other techniques as directed by your energy. I also check in with each of your body’s systems to see if anything is hidden that needs to be addressed.

During the session, clients often yawn, sigh, or express emotions, which is completely normal—this is your body releasing energy and embracing the healing process.

I often assign "homework" to support your healing journey. This might include journaling, gratitude lists, meditation, prayer, time in nature, or mirror work. Whatever your energy indicates will further your progress outside of the session.

Each session is uniquely tailored to your specific needs, ensuring a comprehensive healing experience. You’ll leave the session with clarity, a sense of healing, and a roadmap for continued growth. Staying hydrated also helps the energy continue to flow and release. It’s truly a beautiful process.

I am not into all the woo-woo and crystal vibes how is this different from all the new age stuff?

When I had my first energy healing session, it didn’t feel strange or “out there.” In fact, I didn’t even realize there was another side to energy work.

As I’ve delved deeper into the world of energy healing, I’ve encountered some aspects often labeled as “woo-woo” and theories that don’t resonate with me or align with my belief system. And you know what? That’s completely okay. I’ve chosen a path that feels authentic to me and reflects how I practice energy healing. It’s not woo-woo or outlandish—it’s a natural process, one I believe God has provided to help us navigate the challenges of life.

Once you experience it for yourself, you’ll see that energy healing isn’t something bizarre or space-aged. It’s not even in the realm of the unexpected. Instead, it’s a process that flows naturally and feels deeply right.
