Holiday Craze Turned to Holiday Calm

The holiday season often comes with a mix of joy and stress. While we envision cozy gatherings, magical moments, and abundant gratitude, reality sometimes brings rushed schedules, financial strain, and tension with loved ones. But what if you could flip the script? What if this year, instead of the "holiday craze," you could set the tone for a holiday filled with peace, love, and calm?

As an intuitive energy healer, I believe the holidays are an ideal time to use energy work to align ourselves with the feelings we want to experience. By preparing energetically, we can enjoy the season and create magical, peaceful connections with our loved ones—even those relationships that feel challenging. Here's how.

Step 1: Setting the Energy for Peace, Love, and Calm

The holidays hold a collective energy of celebration and connection. But they can also amplify our personal stressors. To navigate this, it’s essential to set your own energetic tone. Here are some steps you can take:

1. Ground Yourself Daily

Start your day with grounding exercises. Visualize roots growing from your feet into the earth, anchoring you in peace. Take deep breaths, inhaling calm and exhaling tension. This practice aligns your energy with stability, no matter how busy the day gets.

2. Create an Intentional Energy Field

Set an intention for how you want to feel during the holidays. Do you want joy, love, or calm? Speak it aloud or write it down:

  • "I invite peace, love, and calm into my holiday season."

  • “I connect with people in love, harmony and allow for grace.”

  • “I set healthy boundaries and allow for fun to flow into my life.”

  • “I am a fun person to be around and allow my light to shine brightly.”

  • This is the most wonderful time of the year, and my energy radiates that joy."

Imagine a soft, golden light surrounding you, embodying these emotions. Let it expand to include your family and home. This visualization sets the tone for your interactions and activities. This visualize can include any color of light you want it to. What color of light is your intuition telling you to use?

3. Realign Your Energy Systems

Using an energy work session, I can realign your systems to support your intentions. For example:

  • Chakra alignment: Ensure your heart chakra is open and balanced to radiate love.

  • Aura cleansing: Release stagnant energy from your aura that might carry holiday stress from previous years.

  • Meridian realignment: Clear blockages in your energy pathways for better emotional flow.

These small but significant adjustments help you carry a sense of peace into all you do.

Step 2: Creating Magic in the Moment

Once you’ve set your energy, it’s easier to infuse everyday holiday activities with a sense of magic. Energy work is about amplifying the good already present.

1. Bring Intention to Traditions

Whether it’s decorating the tree, baking cookies, or wrapping gifts, approach each task with mindfulness. Infuse love into your actions by visualizing joy radiating from your heart as you work. Be present and find gratitude in each small moment. Recognize those moments and have fun! Be silly! Dance!

2. Elevate the Atmosphere in Your Home

Enhance the ambiance of your home and holiday gatherings with tools like essential oils, music, and thoughtful lighting to create a cozy, calming atmosphere. Did you know I can also help raise the vibrations for future events? Whether you're heading to the in-laws' or attending a work party and struggling to feel excited, I can help you set the energy for those spaces. Together, we can create a warm, uplifting vibe and ensure your energy systems are aligned to fully enjoy these cherished holiday traditions."

3. Focus on Gratitude

Gratitude raises your vibration and opens your heart. Every day, write down three things you’re grateful for this holiday season. It helps shift your focus from what feels overwhelming to what’s going well.

Step 3: Navigating Challenging Relationships with Energy Work

One of the biggest sources of holiday stress is strained relationships with family. You want to feel connection and love, but past conflicts or personality clashes can make it hard. Energy work offers a powerful way to foster acceptance and understanding.

1. Start with Self-Reflection

Ask yourself:

  • What do I feel when I’m around this person?

  • What triggers me in our interactions?

Identifying your emotional response is the first step to releasing it. Often, what we project onto others reflects something within us that needs healing. You can even do an emotional flip.

I have a special technique I use to help you connect with family and friends you have had a hard time understanding. It allows for forgiveness and a fresh restart to take shape.

I also offer a technique that helps harmonize your energy with coworkers or others you need to get along with, even if you don’t want to deeply connect on a personal level.

2. Clear Generational Patterns

Many family dynamics are rooted in generational energy patterns—beliefs, behaviors, and traumas passed down through ancestry. Through my energy healing techniques, you can locate and release these patterns, freeing yourself from cycles of misunderstanding or conflict. This is one of my most favorite parts of energy work. It is amazing how it helps to free you from energetic clutter!

3. Send Love Energetically

Before family gatherings, spend a few moments opening your heart to each individual. Create a feelings of love and acceptance with everyone you interact with. When you greet each individual be genuine and excited to see them. Who doesn’t want to feel love and seen?

4. Create a Bubble of Compassion

If certain interactions still feel tense, create an energetic love boundary. Picture a soft bubble around yourself filled with compassion, love and calm. It allows you to remain open and loving without absorbing negativity. Love is protection.

Step 4: Anchoring Love and Acceptance

Holidays can be an opportunity to reconnect and heal relationships, even if it feels impossible. Trust yourself and trust that God can help you fix what is broken.

1. Focus on What You Appreciate

Even with the most challenging relatives, there’s usually something to appreciate. Whether it’s their sense of humor or dedication to family traditions, focus on these qualities. Express your appreciation verbally or through small gestures of kindness. Words matter can create an atmosphere of love. You can be the creator of a space acceptance, love and fun!

2. Practice Active Listening

Instead of responding defensively during conversations, practice active listening. Repeat back what the person is saying to show you understand, even if you don’t agree. This energy of acknowledgment diffuses tension and opens the door for deeper connection. We can all learn to agree to disagree and see things from a different viewpoint. It is okay to think and believe differently than other people.

3. Let Go of the Need to Be Right

Sometimes the best gift you can give is letting go of the need to win an argument. Accept that differing opinions don’t have to disrupt love and connection.

Step 5: Carrying Peace Forward

Once the holidays are over, you don’t have to leave this calm, magical energy behind. Use the same techniques—grounding, realignment, intention setting, and energetic boundaries—throughout the year to create harmony in your life.

Remember, the energy you bring into the holidays doesn’t just affect you—it ripples out to everyone around you. By cultivating peace, love, and calm within yourself, you inspire it in your family, your community, and beyond.

This year, trade the "holiday craze" for "holiday calm." Use energy work to align yourself with the true spirit of the season. With a little intention and practice, you can make this holiday the most magical one yet.

You deserve to feel joy, peace, and love—not just during the holidays but every day. Let the season inspire you to create an energy that feels as warm and radiant as the twinkling lights around you.

Wishing you a calm and magical holiday season!

Sending Much Love and Light!
